Aire Born Studios, an easy 20 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport, is home away from home to many of the industry's top publishers. We owe much of our success to our budget-friendly rates as well as on-site instrumental and vocal contractors. While producing your project here, you'll enjoy working with a terrific staff of seasoned engineers and production managers. You'll also have the option to produce your audio project in one of our four ProTools® HD rooms. If you're tight for time, ask about our producers, arrangers and copyists.
We here at Aire Born just celebrated our 20th year in the business, we boast a combined engineering experience of over 80 years, we've recorded over 43,000 sessions, and we'll gladly turn-key any job for you, large or small! We look forward to meeting you.

Mike Wilson * President, Engineer
Mike began Aire Born in 1987 with former partner John Bolt. He and his wife, Tina have six children...which they had merely for tax relief.
Mike is the visionary leader of Aire Born. He is currently working on a 1/552 scale model of what he calls the "Aire Born Compound" in his office. The Aire Born megaplex would include a 12 screen movie theater which would only show "Howard the Duck" (Mike's favorite movie) as well as White Castle and Popeye's restaurants. The Wilson Tower, modeled after the Eiffel Tower, "but without the French food", would be the centerpiece of the plaza. Mike has occasionally been seen siphoning oil from the pipeline outside of the studio, which explains why he can live so far away and still afford gas. |

Nanci Milam * Director of Operations
Nanci began working at Aire Born in 1994. Nanci has two sons, David and Jason, and a daughter Emily. Emily and her husband Andy, are the parents of Nanci's grandchildren, Evan and Anneliese.
Nanci is a former Olympian. She won a Bronze medal in the 1972 Olympics as part of the Bulgarian Curling team. She was later banned from the team after she refused to be in the Wheaties box photo. She didn't want to taint the "purity of the sport" by doing a commercial. Despite the incident, her broom was retired to the Curling Hall of Fame in Juno, Alaska. |

Nina Hunt * Office Manager
Nina joined Aire Born in 1989 as a part-time receptionist, and became office manager in 1994. She and her husband, Tom(a pastor), are the parents of five sons and two daughter-in-laws as well as grandparents to four grandchildren.
Nina came to Aire Born after a brief stint with Ringling Bros. Circus. Her jobs there included plate spinning, chainsaw juggling and cleaning up after the elephants every other Tuesday. She was fired after she was overheard telling children that it "wasn't really the greatest show on earth, but maybe the third or fourth best." |

Dave Price * Studio Engineer
Dave Price graduated from Full Sail and has worked at Aire Born since 1993. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Connersville, Indiana, with their daughter Abby.
You may recognize David from his days on "The Young and the Restless". David had a recurring role as Waiter #2. Dave has also done film work including the Blockbuster E.T. in which he played Trick-or-Treat kid #8 and Superman IV in which he played screaming man #34. Dave is currently also working as an interior design advisor on the Christopher Lowell show. |

Ben Vawter * Studio Engineer Ben is a graduate of Cedarville College and has been at Aire Born since 1998. He and his wife Sara, an RN working in labor and delivery, have two children, Jacob and Paige.
Ben is currently on sabbatical from Aire Born while he leads his "Free Martha Stewart" campaign. Ben wants to right the injustice of imprisoning the lady he affectionately calls the "MacGyver of the crafts world". Ben has collected all the towels in the Martha Stewart Collection from Kmart. |

John Bolt * Engineer, Technical Consultant
John Bolt began Aire Born in 1987 with partner Mike Wilson. John and his wife, Elizabeth enjoy frequent trips to Brazil. Before Aire Born, John worked at Pine Brook Studios in Alexandria, Indiana.
John is an avid gardner and is actually trying to perfect a giant pistachio nut in his familyroom at home. His life's goal is to open a nationwide chain of concession stands called "Bolt's Nuts". John is currently trying to arrange a debate with the Planter's Peanut. |
